Мертвый Город

Пустыми окнами встречает мертвый город
Центр отчуждения, хотя еще так молод
Ошибся человек – остановилось время
В гнилых календарях застыл конец апреля

Погребены мечты под тонким слоем пыли
Дар Прометея алчные расправил крылья
Автобус навсегда увозит прочь от дома
Бетонный саркофаг возглавил эту зону

Чертово колесо первых посетителей ждет
Природа взяла свое.
Рыжие листья кружат с ветром свой последний хоровод

Почернело чистое небо, и невидимым светом на город
Тень Чернобыля тихо легла, сны людей выжигая дотла
Много лет одиночества пленник, в одночасье брошенный всеми
Эхом призраков стылых квартир здесь писали на стенах – Прости…

Оскалив зубы улыбался мирный атом
Багряным заревом под звездами распятый
Героев ночи той мы не увидим лица
Их вещи до сих пор хранит подвал больницы

Кружится карусель, только никого нет на ней
В сумраке серых дней
Город без будущего верно охраняет Прометей


Dead Town

Dead town welcomes you with empty windows
The center of Alienation Zone still so young
A man made a mistake - the time stood still
The end of april congealed in rotten calendars

Dreams are buried under a thin layer of dust
The gift of Promotheus spread it's greedy wings
A bus drives you forever away from home
The concrete shelter crowns the Zone

The ferris wheel waits for it's first customers
Nature comes into its own
Red leaves whirl their last round dance with the wind

A clear sky was blackened and as invisible light
The Shadow Of Chernobyl covered the town
Burning down people's dreams
For many years a prisoner of solitude suddenly abandoned by everyone
With the echoes of ghosts of cold apartments they wrote - forgive us

The peaceful atom grinned
Crucified under the stars by purple flames
We won't see the faces of the heroes of that night
Their clothes are still in the hospital's basement

Carousel is turning but noone is riding it
In the twilight of the gray days
The town with no future is faithfully guarded by Prometheus
